Auto tranny hissing noise
Anyone with auto has this? My 06 GTA makes some "siiiip, siiiiip" noise when I let off and get back on gas lightly, mainly at 40+ mph. Dealer said it's normal but I say it's irratating. Any imputs?
Also, what's the deal with the "soft spot" when you try to accelerate? The rpm goes up and down again, seems like it upshifted when I want to accel. I've heard it's the lockup converter kicking in trying to save gas; it's more like the car knows you want more power, but it immediately goes up one gear just to "f" with you!?!?
