I have to say that my Stang so far has not failed me in anyway, not even a light bulb.
I only have 20K miles though.

Alright, so the Mustang's fixed. It turned out to be the alternator. It pretty much died, so they told me they replaced it as well as a belt somewhere around it. It's running great now... even seems like my gas mileage may have improved. Either that or my computer is simply more accurate now. Exhaust also sounds a bit crisper, I think.

I had almost the same thing happen to me but in a 97 Lumina. The battery was shot, and wasn't charging the car was running completely off battery. It was almost ethereal/surreal. one by one electrical systems were shutting down from the peripheral to the critical. even the guages had a pattern of shutdown.
