had to read through your post and found this one. So it wasnt the clutch. Glad Saleen is taking care of it for you. So basically roadside asst. took you to the nearest dealer. and they told you it was the blower. then you called Saleen, and they towing your car to a authorized saleen dealer? FOR FREE.

Are they putting it on for free?

That is correct, totally free. Except that it looks like I will have to pay the Yuma dealer for the $100 diag fee for slipping the belt off and starting it, WTF?!?.Actually Saleen was going to allow the Yuma dealer to install it since it's about a 1 hour swap, and supposedly extremely self explanatory. After Saleenspoke to the service manager at Yuma he felt like they were incompetent enough that they wanted and preferred to spend the $200-$300 tow bill to get me out of there asap. The service manager apparentlysaid there 23 years of service experienceASE mechanicdidn't feel comfortable doing the swap out. What's hard about unscrewing a few bolts and redoing a few vacuum lines, again WTF?!!? The person at Saleen was funny and said "I'm confident my teenager can figure this swap out".

Anyways, I just wished I had broke down in El Centro now instead of Yuma [:@].

And just think, if you had went with the whipple. Not to bash its performance but they, nordoes ford racingwarrant their H.O. Blower. Chalk one up for Saleen.

Awesome! But I'm amazed that the blower seized. Never heard of that happening before!
Now I'm really glad I picked up the Saleen -- sometimes I think I should have gone with the H.O Whipple, but the warranty is important to me.
And now I know it works!
