Mine did it to. It's like the internal amp did not turn on. It gets worse. Soon the radio will quit and then work agian and everytime you get in it may be something different. Take it to the dealer. I have been waiting 8 weeks for a new radio. Keep getting told it's on backorder. Called Ford's 800 number and complained. They got back in touch immediately and started working the issue and called in a week to notify me they located one and was sending it to the dealer. 3 weeks later they called to see if it was ok and I said "what's ok" she said "your new radio" I don't have a new radio. "I'll call the dealer" she said. 2 more days and still nothing. Starting to get pissed. I got the woman at the customer service good though. She said "I'm sorry they are showing on backorder" so I said " It must be costing Ford a lot of money with all the Mustang production shut down" She said " Were still making Mustangs." I said " Who's going to buy Mustangs without radios" The phone went silent for a while. She got my point. That's when she said "let me see what I can do" Obviously not much.
