whats faster?
V6 wont be anywhere near the GT in the 1/4 miles....Sorry, it's missing 2 cylinders.
THe V6 mustang is still a great car, hey it is still a mustang after all. But fast is one thing it is not.

This topic was on bolt on V6 in the 1/4 against a stock GT. I already summarized to the best of my knowledge what the cars run. The bolt on V6 is a very respectable low 14 sec. car w/ bolt ons.
The GT stock can put down high 13's, so yes the 2 cylinders and displacement advantage comes into play.
But you seem to take it a step further with some of those statements by saying fast is one thing it is not.
I find it a little hard to believe that the sixer won, but ya never know, im guessing the gt at the 3.31 as opposed to the 3.55's. I just cant see the sixer pulling away up to 60, anybodyever stay in 2nd till about 4k rpm then go wot? The gt just absolutely slams you in your seat you can feel the g forces on your body not sure a sixer could keep up but hey anything can happen.

How fast is considered fast?

As you obviously know a V6 has potential if you put the work into it. But with basic bolt ons it is barely touching 210 hp, as you stated earlier. The GT is by no means "fast", but compared to a V6 with bolt ons it still has 40-50 hp over it.
Anyone who says that a basically stock GT with basic bolt ons and a gear is "fast" is sorely mistaken.....now say a V6 with basic bolt ons and a gear is fast...that is a ridiculous statment.
Sorry, but you cannot come on here and tell me that a V6 mustang out of the box (maybe some bolt ons) is fast. Please, i dont care if you have a 10 second sixxer, you cant tell me that thing was "fast" before you put that turbo and stuff on it.
Please dont pick apart my statment. I said a V6 is not fast. Sorry, it isnt. Neither is a stock GT for that matter so please dont call me a "V6 hater".
And to quote you, " A very respectable low 14 sec car. with bolt ons". Since when is a modded car that runs 14's respectable? (Key word here being "modded")
Don't get touchy. I was saying that a V6with bolt ons is not fast, didnt mean to insult the entire V6 community. **** i dont think my car is "fast" and it is at 440 rwhp.

EDIT: I fixed your quote so it now works - 28HopUp
cat fight, jk. the v6 is a good car if you cant afford a GT or if your not interested in killing yourself (GT500). overall nice car but not worth putting too much money into. save the bucks and buy an 04 cobra, thats my next car.
