Well ... with a good tune on the V6 that improves the shift on the Auto plus some extra ponies due to the mods ... it would say it would be pretty darn close at 60MPH but I say the GT... The issue would be the V6 with 4.10 would probably be in 3rd gear at 60 and the GT would be in 2nd ... and there is no way to get 220HP on a V6 at the rear wheels with the mods you listed ... or any N/A V6 that I am aware of ...

sound like most of you think it would be close, i have the answer....my friend has the 6 with all the goodies ive mentioned and another buddy of mine has his dads bone stock gt for the week and so last night, 7ish we tested my theory and we did 4 races and every time my friend in the 6 won, by 1 or less car lengths. i know what your thinking its a drivers race, well in this case both cars are auto, no experience needed, traction controll was off in both and the GT has 15k miles and the 6 has 20k, sorry GT guys the V6 is a fast little sucker with a few bolt ons. oh and after the race i smoked the stock GT with my car, i had to get in on the fun. i wish i had a video camera cause i know most of you GT guys wont believe this.

0-60 isnt very much of race for any car, its too short ....it discussed this a month or so ago....someone made a statement about a civic keeping up with the stang for a 0-60 run.....when you do the math pretty much any car compared to a stock GT with a 0-60 of 6.5 or below its going to be like 1-1.5 car lengths difference at most.....the cars are pretty much equal 0-20 so that leaves just a small margain for either car to really do anything.....i still find it hard to believe that the 6 won each time....if you really want to compare the 2 cars....run a 1320 with each of them and then see how the cars compare

thats a good point howarmat, ill let you know how the next race goes, maybe to 80 or something.still in the world of auto racing 1 car lenghth is huge and the 6 can hold its own, add a nitrous system, pick your races wisely and youve gotone mean ride. i get nervouse going over 60-65 on the street, ive seen the penalties for criminal speeding and im not diggin it.
