Thanks. That's the type of info I like to see; something with some references, not just hear-say. I'll have to find the mag and read the article and view the dyno results.
I suppose that will save me some money and time in the short term. If it's true, then there's no reason to drop money for a freeflow intake/exhaust or waste time prying out that hydrocarbon filter if it's only going to take power from me. More money toward getting my painted on stripes and lowered suspension, I guess. I'd like to get a roots type supercharger installed this year, but I think it will be a little more labor intensive and expensive on this car because the intake is in the front of the engine, whereas it was at the back of the engine on the previous generation.
A lot of rerouting would have to be done with the intake and there might be some problems with hood clearance. []
