Default Help with Head Restraints

How do the head restraints / head rests come out in the S197 ?I really need to take mine out temporarily. In most cars, you simply push the release button and lift upwards. I've obviously tried this, but they stopfirmly in the highest position and won't come out.

Good question. Also, on the seat subject, how do you flip a front seat forward and have it return to the original position afterward? Everytime I do it I have to spend the next 25 miles trying to get it in the right place again [:@]

There is a little tab that needs to be depressed. Its hard to find,
but it is there. Use apaperclip to depress the tab. I believe
its only on one side, not both. Look for the little hole to
insert the paperclip into and depress the tab. Pull that side
out and then release the other side with the adjustment lever.

Me too. It's always a task to find the same position once I've allowed the seat to fold forward for rear seat access.

I dislike this too, but alas, it looks like we must build a bridge and get over it.

Here is how you remove the headrest from the seat back.

EDIT: Oops didn't see the link.
