It will clear the hood with lower motor mounts installed.

Also the only time you will be able to notice cooler engine temps is at a cruise. When stopped the temp is barley any cooler.

I have always liked the 2" to 2 1/2" cowl hoods. But I will not get Fiberglass as I dont have a garage pout.

Anyone know where I can get a 2" or a 2 1/2" cowl metal, or one that would be best that gets hit by then sun all day??
I have had the Steeda hood for almost 3 years now and is holding up well. It doesn't handle hydrolic hood lifts well but besides that all is well.

You could always get stronger rated hood shocks
thats the issue they are too strong

I know know I could get lower rated hood shocks.....

Sorry, I red you all wrong...
You can still find softer ones.
Pep Boys have a good selection.
I found a pair there for my F150 fiberglass hood (heavier than stock alu.).
I imagine you could have the same luck...
