Default Rattle at start up?

My car has been in the garage since yesterday due to snow, I started it up and for the first minute or so when I rev the engine I hear this metal rattle sound maybe something is loose on the exhaust. Whe it idles I do not hear it. After a minute at idle, the noise goes away when I rev it, anyone have an idea or does this happen to your car also??? The car has 200 miles on it.[]

Some people onthis forum said they had the same problem. It ended up being the heat shield on the catalytic converter being loose.

Mine does the same thing, not all the time but sometimes. Sometimes it makes the sound when I take off from a start but not often. I went to the dealer and they didn't find it. Now that I have been informed by this site I will tell ford about it. Thanks guys.

<--- They dont have heat shields.

Casper said the '05's were missing some screws from factory.
<--- yes i did

Here is what you do, i wish i had a better memory. But they are 3/8's bolts, by 16 i think. But you cut them down to size and chase the threads. Then put them in youre adapter plate in the middle of youre trans and engine. They didnt put any in from the factory. Bring it in youre dealership and tell them Casper said to put some bolts in the bottom of the tranny. lol.

Casper I will take it in for the first oil change in a month or so and hand them your post, they will fix it or I will cut their hands off.

What do we do when we catch them? And what happens if they get away?
