My 04 Mach 1, 04 GTO A4, or my wive's CTS-V has yet to loose to the "RETRO-FAD" 05 Mustang. I'm just talking light to light; on the highway, 50-70MPH kickdown against my Goat..................FORGET IT....................PERIOD!

I dont know about the PERIOD!- part.. Maybe you were running again a stand that was not broken in yet. I have only 68 miles on my car and I'm not going for 3K for anyone till 1200-1500 miles.. I think both would be very close.. but heres what car and driver said about the 05 stang..

got mine up to 145 on I-45, and it got there pretty quick too (that was before i put any mods on my car)...surprisingly, it didnt feel like it was really "floating" on the road either. i took my 96 T/A up to 140 on the highway and it felt like i had no control over it; just seemed to float...much happier with my 'stang[sm=gears.gif]

lostsoul........................Brother, you know as well as everyone else here that the "rag mags" testing means nothing on the street or highway. Rice is the enemy, Ford vs. Gm is a tradition!
