I live in Queens, NY and want to get an intake and tune... I know absolutely nothing about how to install any of them. Anyone know of any shop in NY that I can take the car to and get the work done? Also, are there any issues with the intakes as far as driving in the rain, warranty, etc.? Thanks for the help.

Buy the CAI and tune your self and install it..its easy to do...

no issue driving in the rain.. the install is cake..remove and replace..then load tune...call Brenspeed they will set you straight..

Buy froma reputable place....ie Brenspeed...follow the directions and your good to go..

it's not that hard at all anyone can do it. But if you have a problem with it, I live in brooklyn; if you wanna take a trip there, I can help you out. Also i have a JLT with Bamachips 93 octane tune and i love it. warranty should remain in tact unless the dealer can prove that your intake and tune caused the problem that needs work. For safety measures some guys just take the intake off and put the stock tune back in when bringing it to the dealer.

I guess I can just stop being a panzie and just do it myself. If you guys say its easy enough, I'll give it a shot. Thanks for the advice!

it is very easy.... most guys do it themselves in an hour or less. if you want a custom dyno tune.. See Dan Carlson @ Realspeed - Boheima NY. Its a bit of a drive but so worth in IMO.

I'm in central Jersey...20 minutes and a 6 pack gets it installed.
