Default '06 Mustang

I have been floating around this site for the last few months, and have finally registered. I am interested in the 05 stang GT and was wondering if anything will be changing for 2006. I heard that colors and wheel options will be changing, but I did not receive the info from a trustworthy source. Do you guys have any info? I want to figure out if I should place an order now, or wait until late summer for the 06. I most likely won’t be able to wait that long due to my separation anxiety with my sold S2K. The Ford website mustang sound studio can only do so much.

I just talked to a dealer and he said that if people wait more than a month that Ford will not be taking any more orders due to the high demand and they won't be able to get all the orders processed by the end of the current model year production cycle. They also stated that it is taking about 16 weeks to get one delivered.

Well ive heard that the 06's are coming out with 700hp to the wheels, and u also get a dvd player included with a dvd set of the first season of the brady bunch and gilligans island to bring u back to the 60's along with the retro feel of the car, and also, when u press the horse on ur steering wheel, instead of hearing the horn, u actually hear a horse naaying. You also get to have a fat mexican Ford technician to come live with you, to fix the car everytime the cd player keeps skipping.

..............im so bored......

When do they usually start the ordering for the 06? I might just wait untill then to order mine, will they still offer the IUP?

And on a side note I read in a mag that the 06 will have a retro 429 boss engine with a twin turbo kit rated at 1500 h.p,with the optional ford racing sticker that add 135 h.p!

Does anyone have this model yet? I need to borrow the fat Mexican to fix my stereo. I'll even feed him Taco's for free. How come my radio doesn't have all those options? I paid $1295.00 for it.....

I'm not thrilled with the Shaker 500 CD functions. Are these from Mexico. My 05 GT paper work claims 65% USA parts. USA engine, assembled in USA. Mexico trans.

RE: '06 Mustang

Now that it looks like I need a fuel tank (900 miles now, never been able to get the gas to pump in, only super slow). I am not unhappy to be doing the "development part of an 05), but that is an advantage of waiting on the 06.

Well I just came from Mexico and I've seen quite a few 2005 stangs. The shops across the border have already came up with different style bumpers, grills, back ends, and graphics that I wish to see here. I was about to buy a 2005 till I came here and changed my mind; I think I'll wait a couple of months after the 2006 come out. I'll be driving my '65 stang for the meanwhile.
