Default 2008 Hid lights

does anyone have any contacts at ford that could help me install the 2008 HID lights? I have the lights and found out there's a difference wiring harness ($60) for the lights. The problem I'm having is the low beam light wire needs to say active when the highbeam are switched on. My current harness/light coding turns the low beam wire off when the high beams are selected. I need to know if the new harness is all I need or is there some cpu chages to make it work?[/align]

Isn't there a ballast required as well? I though HID lights require high voltage AC power so a ballast that converts the 12V battery to high voltage AC is required.

I paid $119for both headlight assemblies on Ebay including shipping.I can install them now witha $10 H13 wiring adapter but the highbeams wouldnt work. I really just need to know if its the new Ford harness or some type of cpu coding that actually keeps thelow beam wire active with the HIDswhen i switch to highbeams.

Wow, I just went to that link and was a bit surprise by the info the owner posted. Thinks like prototypes and no way to test them...not sure how made those, but the Ford ones are about $500+ each. Hope you can solve your problem.
