I have never seen a Pontiac GTO in person, so I went to google images. All I could find was some Honda/Saturn-looking compact car that was supposed to be the 2008 GTO. Is this correct? If so....what a joke that is!

Lol. This person's gotta be a GTO fan cause they could have had a 500 HP Shelby that's a waaaaaaay better looking car. That GTO is butt ugly.

 

a guy i work with has an o4 gto slightly built and another guys dad just bought a new GT500. ya he let me drive it was awsome. the guy with the gto is ready sell his goat and buy a GT500. he says it would smoke his gto. and the gto is ugly to boot all i see is a grand am hopped up. the gt500 is a work of art. ya know what i mean?

In another thread you want to trade your blue car for a black car, I got a great idea...trade your blue GT for a black pontiac GTO[&:]or SC your blue/black GT and have sweet looking car that is also fast. BTW F everything you can cause mother time is against you

 

Lol. you guys are acting like im in love with the GTO's. They are okay, but the best, but im just saying its the first time i drove a 500+hp car, and it happened to be a gto. and it was amazzzzing!! Im def getting STS Turbo for my car as soon as the warranty is over =) only 4200 miles right now

 

i dont understand why people bash the GTO so much on here, its NOT that bad looking, i think it looks great
the GTO deserves some respect

 

finally saw a fast gto this weekend. went a 10.82 at just under 124 mph on motor alone and sprayed a progressive 250 shot and went 9.73, didnt catch the mph. its still street legal, but has been stripped down and sports a single kirkey drivers seat and roll cage. very impressive

 

GTO = mom car = Gone To Obstetrician

It's definitely not a muscle car....not anymore.
