A guy two houses down from me owns a 6.0 GTO. The day I got my Mustang he came over and said that he loved the car, the color, the looks, and everything about it. I asked him why he got the GTO and not a Mustang....he said because his wife made him. It was hard not too laugh in his face....but I did anyway. Apparently his wife does not trust ford. Oh well. Funny thing is...I never see his wife drive it.

I raced a 6ltr GTO when I first got my stang, totally stock. It was really burning up those little 235/50's.
I've had many sports cars and just figured I would go with it and see what happened.
We started getting on it at about 20mph and stayed neck/neck to about 60 where he started pulling on me. He would've been toast with the way my car is setup now.
I do love those LS2's. Great motor and probably more potential that our little 281.But noother carcan match the mustang, in looks or power for under 40k.When they can build something that looks and performs like the corvette for under 30k, I'm in!
