its no sweat off my back or his if you believe it or not. his next run was in the 9.70s spraying and Im not a gto fan and have nothing to gain from lying about it. If you think a s197 cant run in the 10s ona 175 shot stock bottom end without being blown poked and stroked you are wrong. I cant say how long it will last doing it but so far it has made more than 50 passes in the low 11s on 100 shot and Ive only ran the 175 one pass and that was against a strong head wind when it ran in the 10s

I will admit the ls2 is one tough engine, but the GTO is one heavy pregnet Cavilier. They are quick but they are ugley as sin. If the car had any other name g8 what ever it would have been a great car but that style is a insult to the gto name and to import it is just a kick in the side. The Gto should have been made in america and had a etro body style then it would have been one sweet ride.

I love driving my dad's C6 Z06. Probably the greatest car I have ever driven.

GTO is way too obese for me. Terrible car.
