So i got a call saying that i could pick up my car, but that the thunking noise was not fixed, but it was better. They have to order a new swaybar and links for it, and ill have to take it back in. But anyway i go in, pick up my car, and before i get in it to take off i go up to a service writer (mine had conveniently left for the day) and i asked about why they had jus called for my wheel locks today, and no saturday, and he blatantly told me that more than likely my car got pushed back on saturday and possibly not even touched at all. Then he gave me the typical, " theres only 8 techs here on saturdays as opposed to 26 on weekdays, if your gonna do nightdrop do it then, not on weekends cuz they tend to cater to the people who wait for their cars to be ready"....so i said "so what your telling me is, its not your guys fault that you blatantly lied to me on saturday and said you were working on it, but that its my fault because i chose to to the night drop on a weekend and not a weeknight?" to which his response was....."yea basically, sorry about that" so after getting into it a little more about not lying to me about it, i stormed out, got in my car and then when i drove off, the thunking is now TWICE as bad, its much louder and much much worse than it was, when i got home they were closed, but i called and left a message about how they lied to me again telling me that the noise was "not fixed, but better" which is just ridiculous........ugh, here we go again....

Is Apple Ford the only dealership in your area, or is it just the most convenient (location)? I would not be a jerk about it - be the better man, but go to the General Manager, tell your story calmly and civily (no threats). Tell him what an inconvenience it is to have to keep bringing it back, etc. Then politely ask if they could provide a loaner. Use this approach and I'll bet they bend over backward to make it right. If this doesn't work, then get mad.

Whatever you think of dealerships and the people that are employed there, right or wrong, they are people and people generally respond more positively to someone being stern, but polite as opposed to stern and a jerk (however justified you are in being a jerk to them at this point).

+10000 on this.

If even I have a problem I have gone to the Service Manager or General Manager and calmly and civilly tell them my problem. Have ALWAYS gotten it resolved to my satisfaction. Also if this does not work, NEVER EVER go back there. The dealership is paid by Ford for the work (under warranty) so, if they don't treat for right, go to anther dealership. Ford will now pay them, (warranty), and Apply Ford will now lose that money for the repair.

I had some Roush louvers painted at the dealer. Sucky paint job,
massive runs, contamination in paint, and even a small fingerprint.
The next day I walked in to the new showroom and asked for the
manager of the dealership. Looking around at all the customers
they decided to get him real quick for me. I showed him the paint
job and he was pissed. He said he would take care of it. Picked it up a few
days later and it was pretty good, not perfect but good. I could have been
more bitchy and insisted on new ones but I wanted to put them on my car.
Don't mess around, go high up. I wouldn't get a toothpick painted there again.

I won't let the dealer do anything to my care except changing oil..MRT does great job, same price as dealership do,but much better...I crashed a cat last month and my fog light fell off,I went to a Roush ford dealership and tell them to fix it,they told me to get a new bumper cover for $1400,just coz the bracket was missing, then I went to MRT,just $200 fixed, the bracket and the bottom panel...WTF was the guy thinking...
