Well I just finished the sidemarkers. They look good. Completly blacked out 5%. You can still see the light with the lights on. Its just dimmer, they still reflect the same red.
Stock with lights on at night

Tinted 5% with lights on at night

Tinted 5% lights off at night

the side markers and the front turn signals are the little things that people miss when they tint there tail lights and headlights. but these make a big difference. and make your car look so much better depending on color.

luckydawg003, how do you like em? front were easy werent they? how did you do the side markers? with the edges and lettering?

Yes use regular tint. I used adhesive backed tint to make it stick better, and made the cutouts wide enough to go around the edges. I removed everything to tint it, just makes it easier to work on inside the house. The side markers are very easy, just pop them out with a flathead and just work the tint around the edges. The lettering stays, and does show thru the tint, just squeegee around the letters to make the tint tight their. I did end up with a few small airbubbles in the tint, but it should come out once the tint cures.
