Default Loud POP!

OK, I had just rotated my tires here at the house, and went to the store. I do my shopping, and get back in the car and am wrestling with the seat belt. Before I even start the car, I hear a load pop or thunk noise from the left front. It sent shock waves down the driver's door. At first, I thought someone had hit me with a snowball. Then, I got to thinking, maybe the spring or the sway bar settled from it being off the ground. Maybe the spring was in a bind or something. Anybody???

No. I checked and still had all 4 of em. I checked the lugs to make sure they were all seated correctly. I'm thinking springs. There is a plastic isolater in there and maybe it was pinched. Ihave heard of the sway bar becoming loose after the strut mount replacement but mine is nut busting tight.

OK. I do a 4 tire rotation because the spare is a little dognut tire also known to me as a Gideon. I once knew some Gideons that were dirt poor like I was and they would get these things free and run em all the way around.

Jack up the driver's side rear. Take that tire off and put the Gideon on there. Take the tire that used to be on there and put it on the driver's side front. Take the one that was on the DS front and put it on the pass side rear.Take the one that used to be on the PS rear and put it on the PS front.Take the one that used to be on the PS front and put it on the DS rear where the Gideon is.

I usually use two jacks on one side and jack it up and just swap the tires. Never involved a spare tire before....
