Tire rotation. Do the two jacks on each side front to rear. When both sides done, then jack up the rear only, one jack each side, and swap the rears. That will give you the tire rotation that is in the manual. That or bum a lift off someone, like some lucky guys on this site. DAM! I what a lift.

But the rears always rotate to the front. And the fronts criss cross.

No. We don't have any crime here. But, I was looking around to see if someone threw something. I felt it on my left arm as it rested on the door sill.Vibrated the whole side of the car. I know those things are under a bunch of stress. I once rebuilt a 67 Coupe, and put new springs in it. Had some compressers and even had the springs chained for safety, and one of them got away from me and hit the side of the garage wall. My dog was in there and ran across the street and almost didn't come back home over the deal.
When I was a kid I used to work in an auto parts store. We had a wall-mount strut spring compressor, and used to change springs and upper mounts and soforth for customers for a small fee. I remember I was in the back eating lunch one day, and another one of the guys was doing springs. He somehow didn't mount them correctly, and the spring got away and embedded itself in the cieling.

My owners manual has it the other way round. Rear to front and fronts to opposite side rears. This is what all my Ford owner manuals state (3 cars) for Rear Wheel drive and All Wheel Drive cars.

OK, slow down and re-read what you wrote and then, compare it to what I wrote. See anything the same?
