Anti-Theft System
ORIGINAL: riff
RE: Windows up/down using the remote. See page 66 of the manual. You need to have the active anti-theft system and the accessory delay feature must not be activated for this feature to work.
p 44. Accessory delay: the window switches and radio may be used for up to ten minutes afte the ignition switch is turned to the OFF position....
I haven't found where it tells you how to turn off the accessory delay. But if it is one feature over the other, I think I would rather use the accessory delay feature.

- I have the Active Anti Theft (tested it and it works just fine)
- I have the accessory delay enabled (I can listen to the radio and control the windows for 10 minutes or I open the door, whichever comes first)
- I can lower my windows with the remote or the key in the door and I can also raise my windows with the key in the door (all tested and working fine)
So, go figure?

Found out today that trying to use the key in the door does not lower or raise the windows and also does not lock/unlock both doors. THe key in the lock will only unlock the driver side door. The remote will unlock/lock both doors. So it is not just lowering/raising the windows with the remote that is wrong with my car.
Just brought my vert to the service dept for them to engage the window option and was told, ummmm sorry your car was built on 3-22-05 and we no longer offer that option. And that shaker 1000 you paid $$$$$$ for well go to best buy to get sat radio becouse that unit is not plug and play.[IMG][/IMG]
