Move to California below the 2000' elevation level. Never have to worry about snow again.....

We had an ice storm here in Illinois on Saturday and I was on my way home from putting my Under drive pulleys on and put my car in d2 and didnt have any problem driving home 10 miles to my house. no weight in the trunk either

I have to get sandbags tonight because now they car calling for 5 inches tomorrow night.
How did your speedo read 70 in first? Isn't the relationship engine speed to tire rotation essentially with the gearing? Engine load regardless, 5000 RPM in first gear should be the same "tire speed" moving or not, right?
I have know idea how, I hit the gas the speedo moved up to 60-70mph. Will this damage the gears or engine I did stay off the rev limiter the whole time with the exception of once.
