The warranty is only like 1.5-2k I think... But hey, its something..

I would invest in some heads, headers, hi-flow cat's, mufflers, and better intake before adding a SC...
Then you will ROCK the competition..
Dont forget your rear gears!!

haha.. I'm too poor for that.. all those parts will be 2K alone. If the sc were put on stock cars why not do that and then later upgrade the gears and other stuff. Also I think the SC come with intake.

Well you get better performance with all those parts.. Just the SC will give you 425.. You need the intercooler and injectors for 485+.. And with heads and other mod's, im sure this 4.3 engine can go to almost 600hp for under 7 thousand dollars in aftermarket parts.. I dont include labor in that price... No one touches my car but me.

your right.. and I should do ALL of it myself(with friends). Its been a while though.. 3 years in a beat up honda had weakin my skills.. So I have 250 miles on my car should I wait till the 1-2K mark? .. what would be a good start? You told me before the CAI is a waste of money. Should I try with that JMS kit for 1K? or just get the parts by themselfs? [sm=hail.gif]

I would definatley wait until 3 or 4 thousand miles before I void my warranty.. You better make sure everything is working 100% before you trash the warranty...

I plan to start with exhaust.. Once I am sure everything is running properly in 1 shot im going to do headers, cat, pipes and mufflers.. 4:10 gears are going in the rear... Possibly magnaflow exhaust or SLP loudmouth mufflers.. havent decided on the cat's yet... That should get me going a little.. Then a month or so down the line I plan to do my intake starting with a better manifold, but I might do heads first since thats under the manifold....

SC is the last thing im going to worry about if I even get it... Main priority is to beef the engine to handle a nice 10lb bottle and long shot.

For a quick mod and some HP, do the CAI... But you will only get 5hp MAYBE 10... Not very noticable if you ask me in the long run.. It will give you the edge on other mustangs...

Well.. If I'm going to wait till 3-4Kmiles.. that will be a few months since I'm only 10 minust from work..hahah. I will have to go one some long road trips.. maybe go visit casper or something. It will give me time to save up for all the toys... thanks for your help. Keep me up to date on your mods. I wish they had an area for people to post the mods and instructions and pics.. that would be great for us "rookies"...
