RE: Setting tune back to stock for snow?
i dont know how you guys get around
i loaded 50 pounds of ballast in the trunk and i still can't get around in the snow with my stang
it just spins , spins and spins some more
even feathering the gas with TCS = car will stall out

Its called winter tires. Do not underestimate how much of a difference they make.

I might pass this year having the chin spoiler/plow.
But I was just thinking the other day about about setting the tune to 87 for the winter also.
I've heard it can take a few tanks of gas before you get a more accurate idea if gas mileage has gone up or down, dunno.

Just remember that driving in the snow, Torque is the enemy. General rules of thumb that have served me well thru many snowy rides in multiple muscle cars... If your above 2K rpms, your wrong. If your taking off with more pressure on the gas pedal than the weight of your foot puts on it, your wrong. also, if at all even remotely possible, get a set of winter tires (NOT All Season... WINTER tires).
