So I ordered an Automatic but....

I say you should get what you want and not listen to the advise of a bunch of anonymous Internet people.
So if you want a manual - buy one. Even if you never had one it will be a good experience for you.
I have ownedmany manual tranny Mustangs.
I have an automatic in this Mustang and NO REGRETS, but I am mostly in to drag racing , which favors automatics.

I would go with the M/T. Yea I am going to agree with everybody. Trust me everybody stalls but after you have drove a manual about a week you will hardly ever I mean ever do it. I would go with the manaul cause it gets more power to the ground and more control to the driver. The only problem I have ever had is when you answer you phone in traffic then it gets tricky but you will get the hang of it
not going to read all these posts...
my last car was a 6 speed, starting to love this auto with my new tune, never had a auto scratch 3rd like this before
but its up to you.
I have one of each.......Honestly, I think if I drove in Vegas (BTW...I'll be there next week!) I would buy the Auto, but just the fact that you're torn by this says to me that you need to get the MANUAL....you wouldn't be happy if you didn't get it. That's the only way you'll learn in life, do it yourself! You may regret buying the Manual at some point, but then you'll know....if you bought the AUTO, you'll always wish you didn't....get what you want!

I know I will love the manual, the only thing that has me second guessing myself is 1.theres alot of traffic in vegas, 2.People are insane and will probably snap if I stall it at a green light, and 3.People cant drive(I guess I can just keep my distance)

and if your worried about stalling at a light, maybe you should get the auto. the stang is not a good car to learn on. its better if you know how to drive it first.
Really like to drive? Think the strip, track or autocrossis better thansex? Manual all the way.
Like the Mustang "Cool factor" but not really into driving that much? Auto.
There is also subsets like horsepower junkies which favor the auto for traction and drivetrain survival.
Also a confirmed bracket racer will prefer the auto for consistancy.
At the strip the Auto will make you look good. A good pass with a manual is an achievement.
The manual has the potential to be faster but it demands a lot of the driver.
PS if you change the order to the Manual dont forget to order the optional 3.55 Gears unless you plan on changing them.
