I've got the pzero 17" tires on my stock V6 convertible. I'm glad for the people that assume it's the drivers fault but that is not the case. Not sure what the problem is but the tires have not been good to me. I've been driving 24 years including many winters in southern Alberta. I've never had a problem 'til now. The first time going straight down the road at 40 in a 50 zone, not accelerating. My car just started floating. Luckily I floated and bounced off the curb on the passenger side instead of the Lincoln next to me. Took my foot off the gas and finally got traction back. I rotate my tires, check pressure twice a month. It's not a weight issue either. The V6 is only around 150 lbs lighter.

Go ahead and flame away. Keep saying it's the driver not the tires. Never had a problem with Goodyear and as soon as I can afford it they be on my Mustang.

This is a job for Myth Busters. Myth: Mustangs are lousy in the wet with stock Pirelli tires.

my friends have mustangs and they say it's pretty much a female dog to drive in the rain. i just think, it couldn't be that hard to drive it in rain...i mean i drove my z3 in rain and always gassed it full throttle just so the back end would give out. well i'm definitely going to buy the mustang i just hope nothing bad happens while driving in rain

the palisades doesn't get too much rain, but when it does, it's pretty harsh.
