This is where mine was rattling. Caused by loosening of the handle. Geez what do you know? Hurst doesn't even supply you with the correct hardware to keep the handle from coming off?. Don't even get me started on my hurst install. Thanks to Pascal for being there to reassure me that it WOULD FIT thru the transon hole. Thanks again for that buddy. This is where I gasketed, used good lock washers to fix my handle problems. Second pic shows the big beefy lock washers I used. Had it for about 3 months now and can't wait till it's gone. A lot of folks really likethe hurstbut I don't.

Don't fall to pieces yet. The MGW is still short throw and better engineered. Hurst is for racing really.
I love mine and it doesn't vibrate with the copper washers I used.
Use longer bolts with nuts in the back and I guarantee you, it won't get loose again.
