How much weight will you get rid of using the rear seat delete?

Well they say around 40 but my guess would be more like 20-25.

You cant lose that much weight by taking out the rear seats because they dont way that much to begin with

Adding in the child restraints, the seat belts, the seats themselves, and the latch for the seatbelt itself (which ways quite a bit surprisingly), it should take out atleast 20.

I could see 20 as a reasonable number but 40 is in my mind stretching it

Caution

The rear seats are actually lighter then you think -- I highly doubt 40lbs ... possilbly 20lbs - 25lbs at best. I often thought about taking mine out but not for the weight ... more of just to do it as I don't ever use my rear seats.
