I had a problem with my gas gauge once also...I fully filled my tank up and started to drive back to school. My ride is a total of 330 miles or like 5 hours. Usually by the time I get to school the tank is just about empty. This time I got to school and my gauge says I only burned a little more then a quarter of the tank. So im all excited by the crazy gas milage, but I knew there is no way possible that I got like 90mpg lol. I started her up the next day and what do you know...NO GAS. Got it started and drove to the gas station. The car died on the last straight road going to the gas station. I had to walk over and get a 2 gallon tank to dump in so I can drive the last 100 yards and fill up.

So if you think your getting crazy good gas milage, stop, turn the car off, and restart...because your tank is probably empty.
Did you fill up with the key on or off.
It matters as to what mode your gas guage goes
into. Also was the parking brake up if you left the
key on while refilling?
Hmm interesting...I had the key off andthen on and then off againbecause I reloaded my tune when the car was filling up. I guess the e-brake was up...thats usually what I do.
Yep, you can refuel key on if you have your eBrake on.
Same as refueling key off. Make sure the eBrake is on
if you reload tunes during refueling with the key on.
Some of the modes last for hours if they are invoked.
The fuel guage will look dead during that time. [:@]
