Default Christmas "Lights"

I hope to be installing a Retro-Solutions 35W, 6000K HID kit soon after Christmas (Thanks Santa). Just wanted to hear from anybody that has done this install, any problems with the install? How's the result? I've already read all the warnings about the demon glare, so please don't bother.

I went with the 35W kit. I was a little afraid of the 55W kit. I figured the OE HIDs are 35W and these should be a major improvment over the stock bulbs.

Has there been a resolution to the glare problem (I skimmed through the other thread), and I am very interested. Im pretty much a novice when it comes to installations, especially electronics. Am I going to be able to install this myself? If so, how long is it going to take?

I just ordered the same kit as Golden Pony, I also sent them a email about the oem bulb shield that I have since mine is a 06 gt. Will they include the other shield shown in the other thread? looking forward to more/better light.

The difference is $20-$30 or 10-15% depending on the application
