Default Paint Sealant and Fabric Protection

Is Ford still applying paint sealant and fabric protection, or is this still an extra option.$$$$$

I will admit , an Synthetic Acrylic Paint Sealant Buffed on a Neutralized Painted Surface, with a buffer, creates an immaculate shine and protection that last years.

Some of us may know this by the stickers they put on the window, or on your invoice.

Other known names:

Paint Protection

Oxidation Prevention

Sealer

Paint Sealer Application II Step

3m Sealer APP

UV Protector Applied

Ultra Seal

etc etc etc, at different dealerships and body shops

so whats the deal? If not, Id go to them and get the service, it freaking rocks.

The shine is similiar to a wet sand and polish !

Dealerships refer to that as selling "the Mop & Glop" its a huge money maker. take it to a detail shop yourself or do it yourself. . . . huge savings

do it yourself and save a ton of money. And regardless of what a dealer tells you, no way their dealer applied sealant will last for years. you should reseal at least every 6 months.

Paint sealant & fabric protector and undercoat are all ripoffs. The dealer tried to force me to get their "Value Pak" because I got my GT on the X plan. I told him NO, they wanted me to buy "fabric protectant" for my leather seats.
