You can hear the Vortech whine, not obnoctious(sp) over the top screaming, but you can hear it, esp from the front & side. in another vehicle, you really can't hear it from idle speed unless you really look for it. At WOT, you can deff hear it as well as the bypass valve once you left off/ switch gears. Gotta love the swwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwhhhhhhh. One of the main reasons I went with the Vortech over the others, is because I bought the kit for a rediculous price, otherwise, who knows??? I would have still bought the kit for the best deal, as all of them for S197s kick ***. I also went centri as having 4.10s. The powerband is higher up in the RPM range over T/S or roots.

 

I've got a 05 GT with Vortech HO kit. My car made 451/381 on a dynojet. I love how the car drives around town and when you put your foor into it. You cannot go wrong with the Vortech kit!
