@warmachine:
do you not understand the fact that some peopel dont give a **** if something has a V6 or a V8?, also everyone has different Credit some worse than others and vice versa, which makes a huge impact on what price range a car your going to buy will have to fall under because it will reflect your monthly paymetn for however long you finace for, combine that with how much you're able to put down and its easy to see why some people end up with a V6. seriously its not hard to understand if you get your head out of your ***

So why don't you tell us your reasons for buying your V6? If your credit is so bad that it would have broken your back to get the GT instead, perhaps you should have visited a used lot for an '85 civic or something. Get real and watch the attitude, punk. ....or are you just drunk out of your mind....oops, there goes more GT money down your gullet.
I see no problem with super or turbo charing a V6.
Its cheaper to buy, cheaper insurance, cheaper yearly registration and more MPG.
Did I mention stronger forged engine internals unlike the V8s nasty thin aluminum rods?
Besides thesad body parts and cheaper rear-end and suspension.... the V6 is a great buy.

If you don't see your self going to the track why do you need a V8 vs. a V6? You can only go so fast on the streets and the V6 has got plenty of power for daily driving. You want to know peoples reasons for buying a V6, wht did you buy a V8? Just so you can say you've got a big engine?

The only argument I hear for why people get a V6 is that they can't afford a GT. How this works, I don't know. It's not like they are paying in cash. The difference in payment between a V6 and a GT is not that much. My friend checked on the insurance, and that is only a few dollars cheaper for the V6. I would have bought a used GT before I bought a new V6. I don't understand the allure of the V6. It's front bumper is uglier than the GT's. It's rocker panels are not painted to match the car. It has a V6 and not a V8. I really think people psyche themselves out of getting a GT with lame arguments. That's why I don't see the point in supercharging or turbocharging a V6.
As far as the track goes.....I don't foresee myself ever taking my car to a dragstrip, so I don't care about those issues.
