The GT300 is a sticker package. I have a picture of a red with black striped one on a dyno at Texas Mustangs in Waco last April. It had a Cobra emblem on the side. Pretty nice looking and it had a blower.

There are also lots of different reasons for V6 vs. V8 but it mostly comes down to choice. Yeah, there are good and bad points on each but it's still a Mustang. I helped a friend of mine get a V6 because she had only driven 4 cylinder cars and thought the V8 would be too much power for her. After she got used to hers, she said she thought she could handle the V8 with no problem. First chance I had I gave her the keys to mine and she did just fine. Still wasn't crazy about going over 100 though.

Ok, listen up and listen good.

I made a simple comment about not understanding the reasoning behind supercharging a V6. I was then attacked for no reason. If you think this forum sucks because of people like me who ask questions, fine...LEAVE and never return. We will be better off without you. My only regret is forgetting that there are such stupid hotheads on here who take offense at everything yet understand nothing.

Regarding the GT300 stripe/sticker.....I think it looks cool at times, but other times it doesn't look so good to me. It's not the kind of thing I'd do to my car. I've never been a fan of advertising stickers. I think some of the more classy looking badges look ok....like...4.6L V8, or 281, or Supercharged. Horsepower stickers always seem kinda lame to me. JMO!

@warmachine:

do you not understand the fact that some peopel dont give a **** if something has a V6 or a V8?, also everyone has different Credit some worse than others and vice versa, which makes a huge impact on what price range a car your going to buy will have to fall under because it will reflect your monthly paymetn for however long you finace for, combine that with how much you're able to put down and its easy to see why some people end up with a V6. seriously its not hard to understand if you get your head out of your ***

So why don't you tell us your reasons for buying your V6? If your credit is so bad that it would have broken your back to get the GT instead, perhaps you should have visited a used lot for an '85 civic or something. Get real and watch the attitude, punk. ....or are you just drunk out of your mind....oops, there goes more GT money down your gullet.

my reasons?..ok when i was 18/19 i was stupid, made some mistakes which messed my credit up bit, so now im paying for it, i only had 5k saved up as down payment, which put my V6 payments at $345/month, which is no problem,but now lets figure i bought a 7k more expensive car, the payments would have been a good bit higher, could i have afforded it?..yes, but i didnt want to spend that kind of money every month because if anything ever happened with work, i would be in trouble.. so because of that i should have went to a use lot and got an 85 civic?...get over yourself, like someone else already said, if you have no plans to go to a track and race, why do you have a v8? the v6 has enough power for the streets and unless you are into racing you dont "NEED" a V8, theres a difference between needing, and wanting.

and i'm not gonna watch my attitude when talking to some jackass who thinks he's Superior to people just because he drives a V8

Just wanted to know if Ford built a 05-08 GT300. Maybewe should.
I'd suggest a single turbo 6 banger.
