Tint %
I have 5% all the way around. Its not easy to see at night out the back but the sides are easier. I think anything higher than 20 is a waste. I have gotten a few tint tickets but a black car with 5% tint and blacked out headlights foglights and tailights draws alot of attention.
i have 35% all around, i think its fine, plus i dont have to worry about tickets, heres two pics from wheen i installed my louvers, shows the tint pretty good i guess

when you have a lighter colored car, like whites and silvers, it doesnt take a super dark tint to look really dark, one of my fathers cars is a chrysler 300, white with 35% and it looks pitch black from a short distance away, when he told me it was 35% i was very surprised, so when he told me it appears darker on lighter cars and to try 35% on my stang before jumping into the world of illegal tint i did it, and im glad..looks dark and its still legal. plus combined with my black leather interior it makes it all blend and appear even darker
I live in Orlando and have 5% all around. Second Mustang with 5% all around, no issues with local police (fhp, city, and county)
I'm on the brink of doing 50% on the windshield, see many cars (Lexus) that come into the dealership with it, looks good and keeps the car MUCH cooler.
not a great pic sorry.
