I have the Garmin Nuvi 330 and love it, it's small portable and accurate. I travel for work and often rent with Hertz but I take my Garmin because their system is so unuser freindly.

 

I have the Tom Tom and use it for business and road trips quite a bit. I like it because I can take it with me whenI rent a car in another city. Mine also has the built in hard drive that I store my music on. Music plays through the built in speaker or I can run it through the car audio system via blue tooth or cables.

 

I was thinking about a Pioneer in-dash one.
