Help please...
Right now on my 06 GT, I am running with a Pypes O/R H and the Mac axle back. I have been running it for a couple weeks and the trumpeting is really annoying. I like the loud and deep sound, but that trumpeting thru 1st 2nd and 3rd gets sickning. I was running the Bassani X, with cats, but had issues with it. I was thinking how changing the mid pipe again, but not sure to what. I was wondering if anyone knows about the MRT H pipes?? I came across them today, but really dont know anything about them as far as quality goes. I really want to keep the Mac's, but undecided about the mid pipe. Was thinking about the catted Magnaflow X pipe....or the Prochamber. Please help with some ideas.

Well any O/R H (no matter what the brand) will sound the same as the pypes....I agree that the O/R H w/ the Macs sounds bad on the 3V (I have the Macs as well). IMO if you were to spend the money on a new midpipe then you might as well go all out and get the LT's. Mac LT's/Prochamber/mufflers would sound awesome....or you could put the stock midpipe back on and get some boomtubes.

 

Yeah I was just looking up the Mac long tubes and the Prochamber and it really isnt that bad in price
