Default Coolant?

I was wondering where I should get coolant for my mustang. It says I need the gold type or whatever. I have to pick up my car later from ford so I was going to buy coolant from them if I had to. Or can I get it from auto zone or something?

Got mine from checker auto. Autozone definately has it. Just make sure you match up the specs, its as simple as that. Any good name brand will work, you should do it every year IMO. Again: Match up the specs.

Also, throw in some 'hyperlube' coolant additive. Its done great in so many tests for protecting aluminum blocks, and does a good job lowering temp.

So I can get the Zerex stuff at autozone and it will mix with the stock coolant and wont cause any problems?

Well I put in some prestone stuff. It says it works with any make or model or year of car. Is that right? I was kind of worrying but I figure if they say it works, it will. Is this right?

My main question is, is it going to cause problems with the coolant already in my engine?
