CDC Shaker and Winter

RE: CDC Shaker and Winter
I got the shaker last week and just finished installing it today. The engine seems louder, probably because the sound is escaping through the open hood.
I trimmed the shaker; I did not like the way it covered the valve covers. I spent too much time making them look nice last winter to hide them now
The installs instructions on Taco Bill's site and the other threads in this forum were definitely helpful. The one problem I ran into that no one seemd to mention was related to the installation of the trim ring on the hood. The rivets that come with the kit are too thin and almost impossible to line up with the holes in the trim ring. After wasting 2 hours playing with this, I wound up drilling larger holes and using slightly bigger rivets. They popped in and I was done in about 5 minutes.
I want to paint the mustang letters red but I was more anxious about getting the shaker done and did not take the time to do it.
