Default Street Scene Grill on V6, Foglight Size?

So after being told the GT Street Scene Grill will not fit on a v6, I said BS, I can make it fit!

So countless hours are trimming, sanding, grinding, the grill now fits like a glove! Such a perfect fit I will take pictures later. But the reason for this post is not how it fits, but what size fogs fit into the grill? 6 inch? 7 inch? My kids stole my measuring tape, so I cannot do it my self.

Anyone?

You've been told right... It doesn't fit. You have to make it fit. If I do this for someone, it will be a $500 grille, so the point is moot.

I can make your S197 look like a 67 Fastback, if you have enough dough. Right now, a 67 door won't fit, but with trimming, grinding, sanding, that door will fit like a glove.

Congrats on the work though... Since the S197 came out, lots of people have tried to put a GT grille on sixers.
They just didn't realized the work involved. You're one of the few that did it.

The OEMfog lamp are 6 inches, so you should be OK.

It was by far NO easy task. Im talking about a slight trim to the bumper, tabs gallor on the grill and the sides shaved down a 1/4 inch at a 10 degree angle. Dont forget the blood and sweat. The top is tight but who doesnt like right? lol

Thanks for the info on the fogs, I cant wait to get some. For the time being I made a mesh grill for behind the light holes and painted it black. Just so I dont look too bootleg lol

No easy task I know.
I had customer wanting me to fit that said grille in the V6. I asked, you have $500 to spare?
They went ahead and get the correct grille after that.

More power to you man. I have a lot of respect for fabricators.
TheV8 Shaker onmy six was no easy task andtime consuming. Had to do it, the V6 one is fugly.

On those fog lights, the overall diameter is slightly bigger than 6" because of the housing you know.
You'll have to center them in thegrille holes opening.

Post pics soon. We likey pictures!
