Have FUN with it!

re: your 67 memories: The reason I bought: when I was in high school I helped my older brother rest-mod (before that was even a term) his 67 coupe. Took the 289 out and now has a 390 in it. (WHAAAAAAT? YES)
We have something in common. I pulled the original engine from a 1-of-189 X-Code (390 2V) 1968 Mustang Fastback in order to drop in a 428 PIfrom aPolice Cruiser. It eventually became aNHRA C/SA in 428CJ Trim.

As to weight, Curb Weight (as opposed to shipping) for a 1968 Fastback 428CJ caris 3620 lb. Thats145 lb heavier than a 2007GT Deluxe with Spoiler Delete. My2007 GT Deluxe(which has the spoiler) with1/4tank of fuel weighs 3420 lb.

woo back from a great 2 days worth of partying ending with me losing money...damn pats...so thanks for all the support and info but to clarify a few things...the car I have reserved as I'm in NY still and its in MO is a manual GT...pics will be up whenever the Navy gets its *** in gear and gets it to Hawaii (Hurry up and wait is the military's motto)...on the 67' I opted to keep the 289 instead of going for larger displacement and my Father as stated that he intends to keep it as well, I got a chance to see it a while back and man I wish I had the pockets my Dad does cause I've never seen it looking better. I'll post pics of both of them when I get a chance. So thanks for the support...looking forward to chatting with you guys.

Ups..........performance!

Downs.......modification addiction

Most people will agree that the most impressive mods for the money are cold air intake and a programmer followed by a short throw shifter. Around a thousand bucks makes a huge difference. Welcome to the forums. Thanks for your service can't be said enough!
