I saw an add in February's edition of Mustang Monthly for a Boss Hood from Reflexxion Products. It's distributed by www.musclecardirect.com. I checked it out and it looks pretty good. It's all steel but is essentially the same weight as the stock hood. One question that the web site doesn't address is if the scoop is functional. Anybody have one of these?

 

Stock hood with a built in scoop, and steel... No. Would never go with a steel hood. One chip in the paint and comon rust.

 

heard of them and the hood looks good and wont be adding pounds to the car
but... by looking at the picture and enlarging it, it seems as though it has a plastic grille in the scoop residing a non-functional hood scoop. besides i would assume that they would say if the hood was functional because that would be quite a big selling point, but you know what happens when you assume... it makes an *** out of U and ME so i would try to find more opinions orcontinue researching before making any decisions
