Default WebElectric DRLs

Anyone using the WebElectric DRL module (DRL-1M5) ?This is the kit that connects to the turn-signallamps. I have heard that some of the S197 wiring harnesses are not color coded correctly and this might make it difficult to determine which wires to splice. Wondering if anyone is using... and had any installation issues? Thx

the day time running lights are controlled by the SMJ (smart junction box), your local dealer can hook your car up to the computer and turn this feature on for you if you want it.

I don't have any information about the Webelectric DRL module and have no opinion, pro or con, but I am planning to follow the DRL route taken by TacoBill. Take a look at his write-up in his sticky thread at the top of this forum.

The control module used by TacoBill's permits the fog lights to be used as the DRLs. YMMV

Thanks for the reply. But I think the SJB reprogram only is for the 'fog' lamps used for DRLs... I like the look of the turn-signal lamps (bright amber) similar to the new vettes and Cad CTS setups. Hoping someone has installed the WebElectric module.

The module I have is connected to my wrist.
Its called a hand and it turns on the fogs for DRLs.

Im just curious, why would you guys want DRLs?

When i had my GrandPrix i figured out how to disable the DRLs, as did a lot of people iknow with similiar cars.
