Default V6 or V8?

I need cold hard facts on this.

Is the V6 enough for posing? I'm getting the car solely for posing not for racing or much of anything other than getting me to work and back. The car is going to be turned into a Shelby replica.

The only difference I see would be the 1 mile on the Miles per Gallon. And the price which is negligeable I guess. I can talk my way down on the price.

Please tell me theres only a one mile per gallon difference between the V6 and V8. Anything else?

I really want the automatic.

I've only test driven the 2008 Pony Package white auto.

This should be an interesting conversation.

... anyway.. with the right mods (the ones i have ) the v6 is plenty for most people.. it's a very well balanced car.

If you can afford the GT and money isn't an issue.. .. there really is no reason not to get it, imho.

Well money is an issue, but fora 1mile per gallon difference I'll spring for the V8.I don't want to send my money to Saudi Arabia or Venezualeale.

Get me?

If I can have the 8 without breaking the bank on a fuel surcharge I'll be cool.

thanks

99% of the world won't know the difference on the street between a V6. a GT, a bullit and even a Shelby. Its all just a mustang to them.

Theres absolutely no point in buying a bigger engine or anything like that if you don't care about performance. Thats like buying a truck when you have no intention of ever carrying anything. Oh wait, I just described 75% of truck owners. Well, ignore that last statement then.... The point is get the V6.

IMO I have a V6 and i probably get worse MPG than some GT's....its all about how you drive your car but nothing beats the sound of a V8. Good luck with your decision.

The gas difference is not that great. I have a 6.. and with my mods and driving habits.. I get 16 to 18 mpg with mostly city driving. I get about 21mpg on the highway averaging 80mph.
