Default Emergency Brake Noise

Hello All,

I have been noticing a rather loud noise from what I think is the right rear wheel when releasing the e-brake. It only seems to happen after the car has been parked a few days and even more so if it has happened to rain during that time. Anyone else encounter a noise like this?

Not sure if this is related but I noticed a burning smell in my left rear wheel a while back during a really cold spell. Anyway, I posted here and got some good suggestions, including taking into the dealership. Turns out there's a TSB on the problem. Water gets into the emergency break somehow and the cables on mine froze. By the time I got it to the dealer I had scored the inside and the brakes pretty good and both sides needed to be replaced. Don't know if that's what's happening with yours but I noticed on odd sound as well.

Thanks for the info. Do you happen to know the TSB number?
