do they move down like the sn-95 did...

Really though, yes they fold down. Look on the upper right (facing the seat) or upper left (also facing the seat) and there is a small strap to pull the seat down.

No they do not.
They do however have an oddly shaped upholstered shelf.

lol i thought the baby seat anchor was some sort of mechanism to pull it down

I had the same problem. I looked at that and I looked in the manual. Someone on this forum told me that there was a lever in the trunk so I spent like 20 min. looking for that. ThenI found the magical strap...
