My friend got them on his s197 and they suck. Everytime he turns the wheel it makes a poping sound. Pay a little more and get Eibachs.

Well thats a first that I have heard about them being bad -- I have them and have had no problems with them at all ... no poping for me

If I remember right, there was a problem with fake Tein springs fairly recently. If you get them off ebay, you better figure out how to make sure they are the real thing and not the knock offs.

There's fake Tein S springs out there but not the H springs. Here's a link on how to spot fake S springs...

Most likely he installed something the wrong way. Springs not seated properly for example.

Im looking to buy the H Techs....can anyone verify the .9 drop in the front and 1.7 in the rear.

Cal Spec...because your cars in the shade, you can't see the gap in the wheel well, it looks a lot lower from the picture..

I have a 2 1/8 gap over the front tire and a 3 1/8 gap over the rear tire...

Thanks
