Its there to use with the Mobile-Ease bluetooth adapter (dealer installed) that uses the stereo as a bluetooth headset.
I got mine off ebay for $100 and installed it myself.

I have a question on this shaker 500, what is the main problem with it??? When I was shopping for my first Mustang, this unit either was replaced with an after market unit, or not working correctly. It won't play home recorded CDRW'S or CD'S either. Thanks

(shakers are the cheapest quality radios, so they can save $$$, of course)
