that is pretty sweet. Have you seen behind the hood insulation yet? There is actually a place marked off in the hood about the size of that shaker scoop. Almost like it was intended for it.

Why not do a little DIY on the pipe work and combine the shaker scoop with the CAI. Steeda and C&L both have setups that seal against the hood basically creating an airbox. Don't see why this could not be modified to pipe air into that space.

 

I'm not trying to be mean here but do not listen to people who do not have a 2005 Mustang and have not put a CAI on it and tried it. I have and it will cause a check engine light to come on and run poorly without a tune. It does not matter if it worked on older Mustangs... it does not work on 05's without a tune. End of discussion. Wait for the tune then install the CAI.

 

with that new shaker hood i wonder if there is a seprate program needed just for it or if you can use same tune as a CIA? i will probubly get this ram air system as well just wonder if the steeda tune i have will work or if cdc will come out with a tune of their own.
